The man accused of intentionally setting a fire at the Globe Hotel in July is set for an arraignment hearing on Oct. 13.
Thomas James Anderson was arrested in July and charged with two counts of arson.
According to Daniel McLaughlin, Crown counsel spokesman, Anderson stands accused of “intentionally or recklessly causing damage by fire or explosion to property, business with apartment complex knowing, or being reckless of the fact that the property was inhabited."
Twelve people were displaced at the structure fire in an apartment at the Front Street building.
Anderson was also charged on Aug. 8 with breaching bail conditions.
