Man accused in Western Forest Products mill shooting to stand trial in January

NANAIMO – Kevin Douglas Addison, 48, faces two counts of first-degree murder in April 2014 shooting.

The man accused in shootings at Western Forest Products mill in April 2014 is set to stand trial in B.C. Supreme Court, in Nanaimo, beginning Jan. 11.

Kevin Douglas Addison, 48, faces two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.

The Nanaimo waterfront mill was shut down at the end of 2014.

The trial is scheduled to take place over six weeks.
