Federal Liberal Party members in the central Island have a chance to send a message straight to the top as interim leader Bob Rae pays a visit to Nanaimo.
Rae joins Liberals, the public and media Saturday (May 19) at Mon Petit Choux, 101 Commercial St., from 10 a.m. to noon.
“He’s going to be in Vancouver and has some time to drop by and visit Nanaimo,” said Bill Stewart, Nanaimo-Alberni Liberal Riding Association president. “We’ve invited the presidents and executive of the Nanaimo-Cowichan and Vancouver Island North ridings. It’s just an informal chat on the issues.”
