Nanaimo property owners are reminded that all property tax payments must be made, and Northern and Rural Home Owner Grants must be claimed by end of day Wednesday (July 2) to avoid a five-per cent penalty applied to any outstanding tax balance.

Last-minute payments can be made at city hall with debit card, cash, or cheque during office hours.
