Cyclist sustains minor injuries in accident near Beban Park in Nanaimo

A cyclist didn’t suffer any serious injuries after being involved in an accident with a vehicle near Beban Park this afternoon.

Nanaimo RCMP, Fire Rescue and B.C. Ambulance responded to a call of a motor vehicle incident shortly after 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bowen and Rosstown roads involving the cyclist and a van.

Police on scene say the cyclist sustained minor injuries and did not need to be transported to hospital.
