COVID-19 case reported at Departure Bay Eco-School in Nanaimo

Another school in Nanaimo-Ladysmith school district has reported a case of COVID-19, the time Departure Bay Elementary Eco-School.

According to a social media post from Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools, the potential exposure date at the school was April 21.

Other district schools listed on Island Health’s COVID-19 school exposure list are École Quarterway Elementary, with potential exposure dates April 20, 21 and 22; Quam Qwum Elementary School, April 13-15; and Pleasant Valley Elementary, April 13-15.

Schools remain on the list 14 days after the last exposure, Island Health said.
