Nanaimo RCMP were called to investigate a man’s death in Nanaimo’s Old City Quarter today.
Police were called to Machleary Street at about 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
The incident happened in the middle of the street. Reserve Const. Gary O’Brien, Nanaimo RCMP spokesperson, said a man had a medical emergency and died. A passer-by who was first on scene tried to assist.
There was no foul play and police consider the investigation complete.
