Normandy Pale is determined to escape from her big sister’s shadow.
So when she, along with her friends, turn to a school club known as the truth commission, they find out some dark secrets about her older sister.
That’s the basis behind Susan Juby’s book, The Truth Commission.
On Friday (Sept. 25) Juby, a member of the Vancouver Island University’s creative writing department, will be speaking at VIU about the book and idea behind truth in writing.
The speaking engagement takes place at the Malaspina Theatre and also features The Truth Commission’s illustrator, Trevor Cooper, who is a graduate of the university.
The Truth Commission was released earlier this year.
