The Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra will end off the outdoor music series with a free performance this Wednesday (Aug. 30) at Maffeo Sutton Park.
The orchestra, which numbers about 25 members, will play “classical-pops” according to an event press release. The program includes pieces by Mozart, Handel, Haydn, Gershwin, Verdi and others.
The orchestra will play from 6-7:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend should bring a lawn chair or a picnic blanket.
