Koncept Nightclub appears to have thrown a touchdown.
The downtown nightclub has dedicated June as ‘V.I. Raiders month.’
Throughout the month, the nightclub will be donating one third of its cover to the junior football club.
Koncept Nightclub manager Sydney Braid said the club is proud to support the community and local football.
“We have astonishingly raised over $8,000 for the Nanaimo Child Development Centre and with their understanding we have began looking for other local organizations to help support, as well,” Braid said.
The Raiders played their inaugural season in 2005 and are seven-time B.C. champions.
