The 24th edition of the Nanaimo Artwalk won’t be held until late this year, but artists can soon register their submissions online.

Interested artists can do so online as early as July 4, and must be members of the Nanaimo Art Council.

According to a release for the event, the artwalk itself will take place Dec. 3-4.

“Dozens of local artists set up shop in local business, creating a tour of art that celebrates the culture of downtown Nanaimo,” noted the release. “It is perfect for artists looking to sell/promote their art, art appreciators looking for new talent to support, folks looking for unique holiday gifts, and those just looking to explore their neighbourhood in a brand new way.”

Early bird registration will be $60 until July 31, and then $75 until Aug. 22 – the final date to register. Full guidelines and submission forms will be updated on the arts council’s website, www.nanaimoartscouncil.ca, by July 4.
