Juno nominee Bill Coon performs in Nanaimo

Guitarist Bill Coon performs at Nanaimo's Lighthouse Bistro Sunday (Jan. 22).

Juno nominated guitarist Bill Coon is performing at the Lighthouse Bistro and Pub Sunday (Jan. 22) at 7:30 p.m.

Coon is being joined by Ken Lister on bass and Buff Allen on drums.

Coon is a member of the Jill Townsend Big Band, for which he composed a four-movement suite, with funding from the B.C. Arts Council.

Although he grew up in Montreal, Coon now calls Vancouver home.
