Vancouver Island University donors will be given a first-hand demonstration of what their support means to students during the school’s donor appreciation event Thursday (Oct. 11).
Students from nursing, dental hygiene, child and youth care, and early childhood education programs, many who are scholarship recipients, will be on hand to give demonstrations in the labs using the different equipment.
The guides will address how the program is preparing them for their chosen career and both faculty and students will be on hand to answer any questions donors might have.
The tours take place between 4-5.30 p.m. at VIU’s nursing lab, third floor.
