The Chix with Stix Dragon Boat Team delivered $3,500 to Kari Cheveldave, seated, of the medical imaging department to help the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation’s effort to fund one of two new CT scanners at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
Since 2006 the team has directed more than $22,000 to the hospital for local healthcare.
