Rotarians cheer Lions on at Grey Cup party

The Daybreak Rotary Club of Nanaimo is ramping up Grey Cup fever all in support of the Nanaimo-Ladysmith School Foundation.

The club is hosting its seventh annual Grey Cup party Sunday (Nov. 27)  and is inviting the public to watch the B.C. Lions in the big game on a high defiintion, big-screen TV.

The party starts at  2:30 p.m. in Lantzville’s Costin Hall. For $30, participants get appetizers, a steak dinner, and chances to win some door and halftime prizes. The afternoon also includes casino tables.

Proceeds allow the foundation to assist low-income students to participate in sports.
