Nanaimo’s next generation of pirates got some training on how to swashbuckle at PirateFest today.
The free family event, held at Country Club Centre, consisted of crafts and other activities for children including a pirate ship race.
PirateFest was part of this month’s Festival of Nanaimo programming.
