MULTIMEDIA: Curious case of a comicon at Country Club Centre

Curious Comicon took place May 5 in Nanaimo benefiting the Children’s Wish Foundation

The third-annual Curious Comicon took place at Country Club Centre Saturday, May 5.

The event took place on the same day as Free Comic Book Day and this year’s event had an exclusive play mat for Magic: The Gathering by original artist Dennis Detwiller that was available for purchase.

Aleks Paunovic, an actor from Planet of the Apes and many other movie and TV shows was on hand and proceeds went to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
