Kids have fun with ‘test-drives’ at Touch A Truck in Nanaimo

Volunteer Nanaimo fundraiser held Sunday, June 19, at Woodgrove Centre

Kids and adults got a chance to get close – and even sit in the driver’s seat – of some of the city’s most impressive big rigs.

Touch A Truck, a fundraiser event for Volunteer Nanaimo, was held in the Woodgrove Centre parking lot on Sunday, June 19.

Semi trucks, crane trucks, heavy-duty tow trucks, a fire truck and even an RDN Transit bus were on display, as well as construction vehicles, tractors and more.
