Denim donation adds up

NANAIMO – Warehouse One The Jean Store is once again running its annual Denim Donor event for charity.

Warehouse One The Jean Store is once again running its annual Denim Donor event for charity. Until Feb. 10, Nanaimo customers are encouraged to donate gently used jeans for a good cause. To encourage donations, Warehouse One is offering 20 per cent off entire purchase when three or more pairs are donated, 15 per cent off for two pairs, and 10 per cent off for one pair.

Over the past eight years, thanks to its customers, Warehouse One has donated more than 71,000 pairs of jeans to shelters across Canada, including local families, women, and children in need in the Nanaimo area. Warehouse One is committed to supporting the communities in which they operate, recently raising more than $40,000 for The Children’s Wish Foundation.

“Our staff are working hard to get the word out to the public for this year’s Denim Donor event for charity. In this ninth year of the event we hope to collect over 13,500 pairs of jeans,” said Neil Armstrong, Warehouse One’s President.

Nanaimo’s Warehouse One is at 2-6683 Mary Ellen Drive. For more information, please go to  www.warehouseone.com.
