It’s a holiday tradition in Nanaimo to be able to give charitable donations in an easy drive-thru format leading up to Christmas.
Give and Go will be held Dec. 10, from 5-7 p.m., at Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln.
The event, a tradition since 2002, collects non-perishable food donations, warm clothing and money for the Salvation Army and Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank.
Organizers hope community members will stop by the dealership that night so that volunteers can unload donations.
“I absolutely love how the Give and Go brought us all together to continue the legacy of taking care of our community for even just a few hours,” said Ann Marie Clark, owner of Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln, in a press release. “Thank you to all that have helped, donated or volunteered.”
