Dermatologist Dr. Gabriele Weichert hosts the clinic in the Jack Little Room at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre from noon to 3 p.m. as part of the Canadian Dermatology Association’s Sun Awareness Program.

Two people die every week in B.C. from melanoma skin cancer. There were 850 new cases diagnosed in the province last year.
