Childhood experiences examined

Early childhood experiences shape the future of an individual and have life-long effects on brain behavior development.

An upcoming discussion Feb. 24 at the Nanaimo Golf Course examines the role early experiences contribute to a child’s development.

Key speaker Paul Kershaw will talk about the report Kids and Crime – making the economic case for early childhood investment: pay now or pay more later.

The event takes place 5:30-7:30 p.m. Those interested in attending are asked to please RSVP Leah Pearson at lpearson@sd68.bc.ca. before Feb. 17.
