Members of 2422 Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary’s) Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps will celebrate 59 years of the corps at the annual ceremonial review Sunday (June 5).

The reviewing officer for the parade is Capt. (Ret’d) Trevor Greene of Nanaimo, a veteran of operations in Afghanistan and a former member of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada. Cadet parade commander is cadet master warrant officer Riley McEachern.

The annual review completes the local training year for the corps.

The public is invited to join parents and friends to view the ceremony at 1:30 p.m at the Brigadier Sargent Armoury located at the Nanaimo Military Camp, 709 Nanaimo Lakes Rd.

The event will include dynamic and static displays that show the cadet’s involvement in corps/regiment history, pipes and drums, summer training, marksmanship, and general cadet training.
