To celebrate its 20th birthday, Nanaimo Community Archives is having a party – complete with cake, prizes and a history quiz.
The public is invited to take the Great Nanaimo History Challenge and find out how much they know about the city’s past.
“We’ve thrown a few zingers in to make it really challenging but mostly it’s about having fun and acknowledging the important work the archives does in the community,” said Christine Meutzner, archives manager.
The party takes place 6:30 p.m. May 3 at the Harbourfront Library.
