The Vancouver Island Raiders were defeated 38-28 on Saturday by the Saskatoon Hilltops in the Canadian Junior Football League's Jostens Cup national semifinal at Caledonia Park.

Cross-country running teams from both Nanaimo District Secondary School and Dover Bay Secondary School pretty much did the impossible this week.
