XploreSportz camp plans busy week

This spring break’s XploreSportz multi-sport camp is sure to offer a brand-new sports experience for every kid who’s signed up.

The five-day camp, hosted by provincial sports body PacificSport, runs March 21-25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, based out of Georgia Avenue Community School.

Program coordinator Catharine Edwards said some of the sports on the schedule this year are European handball, swimming, synchronized swimming, snorkelling, curling, volleyball, field hockey, yoga and ultimate Frisbee.

“It’s going to be an awesome time,” she said. “Lots of great community coaches and sports kids probably haven’t tried before.”

There is still plenty of room for more participants before PacificSport cuts off registration on Monday (March 14).

For more information, please call Edwards at 250-740-6572 or e-mail cedwards@pacificsport.com. To register online, click here.
