Nanaimo Track and Field Club athletes had their legs churning at the Bob Dailey meet earlier this month.

Nanaimo Track and Field Club athletes had their legs churning at the Bob Dailey meet earlier this month. The club had a team at the event at Port Alberni May 4-5. Results include:

Nine-year-olds – Ryan Veasey, first, shot put; Jayden Watson, first, 60-metre dash, first, 100m, first, 600m, first, 1,000m, first, 60m hurdles, first, high jump, first, long jump, first, 800m race walk.

10-year-olds – Olivia Lundman, first, 60m, first, 100m, first, high jump, first, shot put; Madison Paugh, first, discus; Jake Seaman, first, 600m run; Ryan Seaman, first, 1,000m.

11-year-olds – Karly Dickenson, first, 1,000m; Makayla Mitchell, first, 600m, first, long jump, first, javelin, first, shot put, first, 800m race walk; Keaton Heisterman, first, 200m, first, 600m, first, 1,000m, first, long jump, first, discus; Ethan Katzberg, first, high jump, first, javelin; Kintan Rasaiah, first, 60m, first, 100m, first, 60m hurdles.
