A nine-game win streak came to an end for the Senior B Nanaimo Timbermen lacrosse team Saturday against the Royal City Capitals.
The final score was 9-8 in favour of the visiting team. The second meeting on Sunday proved more successful, as the Timbermen won 14-7 over the Capitals.
Starting goalie Nick Patterson was back in net. Timbermen’s next home game at Nanaimo Ice Centre is set for June 21.
