The Diamonds didn’t end up in medal contention, but they were good sports as the hosts of provincial softball championships this past weekend.
The Softball B.C. U16 B girls’ provincials were held at the McGirr Sports Fields.
The Diamonds placed 15th at the tournament. The Cloverdale Fury won the provincial championship, beating the Coquitlam Classics 3-2 in the final. The Ridge Meadows Rage were third.
