Shopping helps kids get in game

Grocery shoppers can be sports fans at the checkout starting this Saturday (June 25). Real Canadian Superstore will support KidSport Nanaimo for a week, with cashiers asking customers if they would like to make a donation to the charity.

Real Canadian Superstore will support KidSport Nanaimo for a week, with cashiers asking customers if they would like to make a donation to the charity.

A hotdog sale outside the store Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. will also benefit KidSport.

KidSport Nanaimo helps children six to 18 with registration costs in sports programs. The charity helps around 100 kids per year in 15 different sports.
