The Nanaimo Timbermen Masters Lacrosse Club hosts its annual red-versus-white intrasquad game at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.
The Timbermen masters hope local lacrosse alumni and fans will join them for what has become a reunion night. But the contest is also important preparation for the Western Canadian Masters Lacrosse Championships coming up July 1-3 in Burnaby. Nanaimo will send 45-plus and 35-plus teams again this year.
Thursday’s red-versus-white game starts at 9 p.m. immediately following an exhibition game between the Timbermen women’s team and midget girls’ team.
