Exhibition play picks up the pace this week with four more games for the Nanaimo Clippers.

The Clippers started their B.C. Hockey League pre-season schedule the right way with a win over the Victoria Grizzlies. The Clips edged the Grizz by a 5-4 score in overtime Saturday at Frank Crane Arena. Devin Brosseau had a four-point game for the Clips and Anthony Rinaldi scored the game-winning goal.

The Clippers continue pre-season play tonight (Sept. 9) on the road against the Cowichan Valley Capitals, then host the Caps on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Frank Crane.

Nanaimo then plays a home-and-home set against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs, hosting Alberni on Friday at 7 p.m. at Frank Crane and then visiting Port the next night.
