Pirates play final regular-season games

NANAIMO – The Hub City Paving Pirates (31-11) play three doubleheaders in four days at Serauxmen Stadium.

The Nanaimo Pirates will make a homestand as they try to finish the regular season the right way.

The team hosts the first-placed Langley Blaze (34-6) today (July 19), then faces the Vancouver Cannons (14-28) and North Delta Blue Jays (17-27) on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

“It’s a matter of getting to play our best baseball by the end of this weekend so we head into playoffs playing our best,” said Doug Rogers, Pirates manager. “That’s now going to be the goal.”

GAME ON … All three doubleheaders start at noon at the stadium … BCPBL playoffs start July 28 and the B.C. championships will be back at Serauxmen Stadium from Aug. 3-5.
