The Nanaimo Minor Baseball Associaton announced it has decided to delay painting Serauxmen Stadium.

The association said this week’s unfavourable weather forecast is to blame and indicated that the painting project will be rescheduled.

The Nanaimo Pirates premier and junior premier ball club players have received permission to paint the stadium in Pirates colours, black and gold, and have received a major donation from General Paint as well as in-kind donations from other businesses for the use of lifts and scaffolding.
