Nanaimo skip in mix at curling provincials

Curl B.C.'s men's curling championships got underway today (Feb. 8) at the Parksville Curling Club.

Nanaimo curler Steve Waatainen will have to outlast a lot of other capable skips this week to win provincials.

Curl B.C.’s men’s championships started Wednesday and continue through Sunday (Feb. 12) at the Parksville Curling Club. Sixteen teams are vying for B.C. jackets.

Today’s draws are at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., with opening ceremonies at 6:30 p.m.
