Island Top Team’s Robert Biernacki brought his best to his gold-medal match.

The black-belt athlete won his division at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s Seattle International Open on Saturday. He won with a kneebar from the 50-50 guard position, for his first gold medal as a black belt in IBJJF competition.

Island Top Team’s Cal McDonald and Shane Malone earned bronze medals at the event.
