The Nanoose Bay athlete, a multiple-time Paralympic gold medallist, set the new world record in her 200-metre division on Friday in Miramar, Fla. at the U.S. Paralympic Track and Field Championships.

Stilwell completed the distance in 35.22 seconds, smashing her own mark of 35.82 that she set a year ago in Switzerland.

She went on to win the 100-metre event in Florida the next day, as well, with a time of 20.42 seconds.
