Nanaimo’s midget rep girls’ team finished 1-4-1 at provincial championships this month at Salmon Arm.

The Extreme’s victory was a 5-0 shutout over Whitehorse on March 22. Their tournament run came to an end the next day with a loss to the eventual provincial champs, Richmond.

Scotia Bellevance was the team’s top scorer at provincials with four goals. Ashlyn Mottershead, Dayna Briggs and Haley Taylor each had two goals at the tourney.
