Basketball camp participants who take to the court will be helping other youths get in the game.
Brar Basketball is hosting a Give Back Camp this Sunday (June 11) from 10 a.m.-noon at the Vancouver Island University gym.
The shooting clinic is for boys and girls in Grade 2 or older. Cost to participate is $20, and all proceeds from the camp will go toward helping athletes who may struggle with future Brar Basketball camp costs.
The camps are led by Avneet Brar, an assistant coach with the VIU Mariners men’s basketball team of the Pacific Western Athletic Association.
