The teams played at Port Alberni’s Weyerhaeuser Arena and the home team eventually prevailed 4-3 in double overtime.

The Clippers’ David Silye scored with two minutes left in the third period to help his team earn a point, but that was all. The Bulldogs’ Jake Witkowski ended it midway through the second overtime frame.

Nanaimo’s other goals were scored by Spencer Hewson and Austin Crossley. Austin Roden suffered the loss in goal, stopping 29 pucks as shots were 40-33 in favour of the visiting team.
