The mid-Island’s fastball circuit will come down to an all-Nanaimo final. The Wheatsheaf team and the Palladian Developments squad play a best-of-three series starting tonight (July 31) in the north end.
The No. 1-seeded Wheatsheaf squad defeated the provincial bronze-medallist Parksville Red Sox in one semifinal, while Palladian got past the Duncan Giants in the other semi.
Game 2 is Wednesday and Game 3, if necessary, will be Thursday. All games will be 6:30 p.m. starts at May Richards Bennett Pioneer Park.
