Local bowlers rolled strikes at the Vancouver Island Championships.
Brechin Lanes bowlers won all the team competitions at the championships, held March 26-27 in Duncan.
Shawn Eby, Larry Cross, Iain Bull, Alec Miller, Frazer Johnson and Wayne Mazur won the men’s title and Amanda Bell, Jennie Friskie, Jennifer Eby, Carla Burgmann, Kim Coulson and Janice Keaist won the ladies’ title. Shawn Eby, Bell, Cross, Friskie and Keaist won the mixed team title.
Johnson, Shawn Eby, Miller, Cross, Friskie, Bell and Keaist were selected tournament all-stars.
