Acme Timbermen win one, lose one

The senior B Timbermen beat the North Shore Indians 15-9 on Friday and lost 10-3 to the Tri-City Bandits on Saturday.

The senior B Timbermen had their ups and downs on the road last weekend, beating the North Shore Indians 15-9 on Friday and losing 10-3 to the Tri-City Bandits on Saturday.

In the victory, Ryan Clark scored four goals and added two assists and Jon Diplock had a hat trick and four assists. Dan Alger added two and two and James Spence also scored twice. Ryan Forslund, Drew Miles, Shawn Swanson and Rick Fields were other scorers for the Acme Painting Timbermen.

Steve Higgs scored all three goals for Nanaimo in the next day's loss.

Next action is May 24 when the senior B T-men host the Valley Rebels at 6 p.m. at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.
