Acme Timbermen win in overtime

The Acme Painting Timbermen won their seventh straight game in West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association play.

The senior B Timbermen needed overtime to do it, but they kept their win streak intact.

The Acme Painting Timbermen won their seventh straight game in West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association play on Sunday, edging the Port Moody Thunder 7-6. Ryan Clark, Steve Higgs and Devon Casey had two goals apiece.

The day before, the T-men beat the North Shore Indians 19-9 at the Nanaimo Ice Centre. Ryan Forslund had four goals, Higgs had a hat trick, Casey had a goal and five helpers and Josh Fagan, Drew Miles and Dean Borrelli all had two-goal games.

GAME ON … The Acme T-men play back-to-back home games against the Tri-City Bandits on Saturday (June 21) at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. at the NIC. The games are a showdown for first place in the WCSLA.
