The Nanaimo Acme Timbermen were best in the regular season, and now they'll try to translate that success to the playoff lacrosse box.
The Acme Painting Timbermen begin the West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association playoffs tonight (July 23) with a game against the North Shore Indians at 6:30 p.m. at Frank Crane Arena.
The Indians are surprise semifinalists after upsetting the Ladner Pioneers in two straight games in the quarterfinals last week.
After tonight's Game 1, the rematch will be Friday in North Vancouver and Game 3 will be Sunday at 5 p.m. at Frank Crane.
