Brandsma didn’t take long to make an impression on fans, scoring a goal in his very first period of hockey with the team.
The 5-foot-11, 160 pounder from Powell River joined the Clips at the trade deadline, coming from the junior B Victoria Cougars. Brandsma had 27 goals in 32 games in junior B this season.
