Young pot advocates could help change law

Anyone knows that over 60 years of desperately trying to find just one true side effect, marijuana cannot be proven harmful.

To the Editor,

Re: Uphill battle for referendum, Editorial, July 30.

Now that most of the pot-smoking, anti-establishment hipsters of the early ’70s that turned into yuppies in the ’80s are now looking at retirement, maybe the new generation will not turn into sheep. I hope they don’t cop out too, with age, complacency and gibberish.

Anyone that is honest with themself knows that over 60 years of desperately trying to find just one true side effect, marijuana cannot be proven harmful.

The laws and effects are obvious – division of society and tons of wasted money and lives.
