Voter insulted by candidates’ remarks

To the Editor,

Re: Nanaimo voters send Krog to Victoria; Nanaimo-North Cowichan sticks with NDP incumbent, May 16.

As a voter in the latest B.C. election, I feel insulted by the comments of Leonard Krog, Ian Gartshore, Bryce Crigger, David Coupland and Doug Routley regarding the decisions made by all of us.

All of them had the chance to put forward the ideas of their party. All of them had the chance to meet with the voters in the constituencies. And all blamed the voters for making the wrong choice.

Contrast that to the reaction of defeated Liberal candidates, who did not have anything negative to say about the voters in their riding.
