If there is one organization that deserves public funding, it is the SPCA. It not only provides protection for animals but it is also the ‘canary’ test of a healthy society.

The SPCA deals with all our pets and I think they should be funded. I think they are an essential service. Where would the injured, abused, sick, abandoned, lost and stolen pets be without the help and care of this society?
