Re: Pot petition fails despite local success, Dec. 10.
Amanda Orum and the other organizers of Sensible B.C. forgot a small, but important part of Nanaimo when collecting signatures.
Not everyone hangs out in the malls. I’m disabled and don’t drive. I don’t do my own shopping and rarely get out. I also live on a limited income. The internet is a luxury a lot of people can’t afford, so websites are useless. How about a phone number with a recorded message?
I would have happily signed your petition had I known where to go, and I’m not the only one.
